  • Focal length reduction adapter
  • reduces the image circle of a full-frame Lens to the image circle of an APS-C sensor
  • the speed is increased by one aperture
  • suitable for Canon EF Lens on MFT camera
  • Autofocus function, for consistent focusing

With the KIPON BAVEYES EF-MFT AF 0.7x adapter, lenses from the Canon EOS EF series can be coupled with Micro Four Third cameras, especially the OM-D series. This adapter, which was designed by the German lens developer and designer IB/E OPTICS, can connect full-frame format Lens with APS-C cameras. Inside the adapter are four optical lenses with multi-coating.

The focal length reduction adapter eliminates the crop factor and the entire image is obtained through the lens. This also solves the problem of cropped corners in images caused by adapters without optical glass elements and also allows sharper images. The image is also brighter due to a higher concentration of incident light, which corresponds to a whole f-stop (compared to an MFT lens). This higher light intensity is most obvious at aperture values.

This adapter also has an autofocus function with very accurate and fast focus for smooth focusing. The adapter is equipped with electronic contacts and a built-in circuit board with chip, which can transfer EXIF data from the camera in addition to the autofocus and stabilization function.
