Thanks to its backpack, the Celestron Travelscope 70 is an excellent small travel telescope with an upright, laterally correct field of view for terrestrial and celestial observations. The basic equipment also includes a tripod, the image-straightening 45 degree Amici prism and two eyepieces (20mm for 20x magnification and 10mm eyepiece for 40x magnification). With this basic equipment, the moon and many bright objects such as globular clusters, galaxies and gas nebulae can be observed. The equipment is completed by the important beginner's book "First steps with your Celestron telescope" (82 pages, author: Alexander Kerste).
