The Gitzo 2-way fluid panhead was developed especially for For wildlife photography and birdwatching but is especially designed for use with lightweight telephoto lenses and spotting scopes.
The special feature of the new panhead is its strikingly compact design. It is considerably smaller, lighter and easier to use than comparable conventional 2-way panheads. Despite its low weight of only 0.6 kg it allows the safe use of up to 4 kg heavy equipment.
The new 2-way fluid panhead fits perfectly on the lightweight carbon tripods from Gitzo, with which it forms an exceptionally powerful, stable and easily transportable unit. Its design is based on the innovative combination of the latest fluid technology and an ultra-precise tilt mechanism. This enables very sensitive observation and tracking of slow or fast-moving animals.
With its elegant design and clear design language, the new 2-way fluid panhead fits seamlessly into the existing Gitzo range, all of whose products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Made from a robust, lightweight magnesium alloy, the new Gitzo 2-way fluid panhead has a tasteful Noir décor finishthe hammer finish that is the trademark of exclusive Gitzo products. Here it is coated with an Anti-reflective surface and thus contributes to good camouflage.
In addition to a smooth tilt and pan mechanism, the 2-way fluid panhead offers a sophisticated, highly accurate Counterbalance systemwhich allows the user to perfectly balance the equipment used. As a result, subject movements can be tracked very evenly and a maximum sharp image can be achieved in every situation. Thanks to an elongated, rubberized Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plate the equipment can be set up and changed quickly and easily.
The 2-way fluid panhead can also be used for video recordings. The integrated swivel lever can be positioned in seconds and fixed at the preferred angle. Thanks to a practical reversing mechanism, it can be operated equally well by left and right-handed users.

These terms of use apply to the participation in and use of the customer ratings of Hifi Foto Koch GmbH. In the event of conflicts with the general terms and conditions or data protection regulations, these terms of use shall take precedence.

- You are the sole author of the content and own all copyrights
- You accept the guidelines for ratings and community media and you are at least 14 years old

- You do not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent or publication rights

Submitted customer opinions and uploaded media are usually reviewed and published within a few working days. All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Promotional use is also permitted. The content may be edited or deleted if it violates the guidelines for ratings and community media as well as these terms of use or if it makes sense for the respective purpose. You grant Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives, the unrestricted right to your customer opinion (rating text, nickname, star rating, recommendation, etc.) as well as to your media (e.g. images, videos, audio files, texts, documents, etc.; incl. the indication of the author, description, etc.) to use, change, store, delete, shorten, modify, adapt, translate, copy, pass on, sell and distribute worldwide in any form, any medium, in any technology. Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.
You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
