The Laowa 15 mm f/2 FE Zero-D with f 2.0 is currently the fastest distortion-free super wide-angle Lens on the market for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras. It is a high-speed ultra-wide-angle Lens for both 35mm full-frame and APS-C sensors. The optical construction of the 500 g lightweight and just under 8 cm long lens consists of 12 elements in 9 groups, including 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion elements.
The patented optical design successfully minimizes distortion and chromatic aberration while delivering outstanding optical performance right into the corners of the image. The ultra-wide + fast Lens on the market are usually very large and usually have a dome-like front lens. This is particularly problematic for landscape photographers who use filters very often.
Venus Optics has also responded to their needs and managed to develop the Lens with a flat front element that allows a 72 mm filter thread. This means that normal 72 mm screw-in filters can be used. Thanks to the super-short focusing distance of 15 cm, this Lens also offers photographers the opportunity to capture close-up objects in sharp focus and to create wide-angle shots with beautiful bokeh thanks to the large f/2.0 aperture.

Submitted customer opinions and uploaded media are usually reviewed and published within a few working days. All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location.
