  • Leofoto Summit LM-365C Carbon Tripod
  • Working height: 1540 mm
  • Load capacity 25kg
  • suitable for DSLR or video cameras
  • Legs made of five segments each
  • incl. bag

Leofoto Summit LM-365C Carbon Tripod
Within the Summit series, it is the tripod with the highest working height: 1,540 mm is quite an "airy height", measured without tripod head and camera. But because the LM-365C has five leg segments each, its pack size of just 490 mm is even shorter than three of the other four Summit tripods. And the 80 mm of the lowest working height are nice and far down - the best prerequisite for both optimal macro and environmental shots from the very low frog perspective. the LM-365C has a load capacity of 25 kg. That's enough strength to keep some weighty equipment - whether DSLR or video camera - in a stable position.

Although the Summit LM-365C is made of a lot of material (legs of five segments each), it weighs only 1,970 g, thanks to carbon. When the tripod is placed in its included bag, the result is a very compact transport unit that is quite easy to handle. With the Summit series, Leofoto aims to ensure that users who shuttle back and forth between two shooting "worlds" don't have to work with different tripods. That's why the Summit LM-365C (like the entire series) features not only a removable tripod plate (Ø 75 mm), but also a 75 mm half-shell. Rubber feet, stainless steel spikes and a multi-tool round out the included accessories. Especially professional users, but also much ambitious hobby photographers can be pleased to get with the Summit LM-365C a very powerful all-round tripod for high-quality, heavy camera systems from DSLR to medium format to pure video cameras.

Leofoto Summit series - super strong, yet lightweight carbon tripods
Similar in strength to the powerful tripods of the Leofoto Mountain series, but the carbon tripods of the Summit series are a good deal lighter. This makes them particularly interesting wherever voluminous camera equipment is used for landscape, nature and sports photography. It is Leofoto's self-image that the tripod legs of the Summit series, which are made of high-density, ten-layer carbon, all achieve top values in terms of bending stiffness, strength and vibration damping. All metal parts also meet the highest standards for durability and longevity. Manufactured from high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum, they achieve their absolute precision and smoothness through the exclusively CNC-controlled manufacturing process - it hardly gets any more precise than this. In the sum of their individual elements, the carbon tripods of the Summit series are designed to provide secure footing for heavy photo or video equipment in particular. To ensure that vibrations and oscillations are damped to the maximum, a telescopic center column has been deliberately omitted.

If you still need it, it is available as an optional accessory.
But that's not all the variability: the tripod plate, which is equipped with a circular bubble, is removable and can be exchanged for a half-shell for video cameras, which is included in the scope of delivery. Optional accessories (e.g. a smartphone holder, a Magic Arm, etc.) can be attached to the 3/8 inch threads of the tripod plate. Depending on the model, the tripod legs consist of two, three, four or even five segments. Of course, they always glide smoothly and twist-proof. And they can be quickly loosened or fixed with ease thanks to the practical, easy-grip rubberized twist locks. Non-slip rubber feet are also part of the standard equipment, as is a set of stainless steel spikes. Snow and sand feet can be purchased as optional extras. Conclusion: enormously strong and hard-wearing, the Summit series tripods are excellent tools for demanding photographers who always want, or even need, to rely on the high quality of all their equipment.

Summit LM-365C Carbon Tripod - professional strength paired with high variability
Carbon is not only a lightweight material, but also a stable one that is capable of safely supporting even heavy weights. That's why the Summit LM-365C can "lift" a load of 25 kg on its slim legs, which consist of five segments each with diameters of 36, 32, 28, 25 and 22 mm. Adjusting the tripod to the desired length is extremely quick and easy thanks to the Twistlock system. These are easy-grip rubberized twist locks that can be loosened and fixed with ease.

The tripod plate is also well thought out.
It not only has a standard 3/8-inch screw (for most strong tripod heads), but also a ¼-inch screw. This expands the spectrum of possible tripod heads quite a bit, although you are also in the best hands with Leofoto when it comes to the question of the optimal tripod head. Anyone who shoots today with a DSLR and tomorrow with a professional video camera, for example, has it wonderfully easy with any Summit tripod. He doesn't need two different tripods, but only has to exchange the tripod plate for the supplied half shell 75 mm, which is done very quickly. And already the Summit LM-365C transforms from a powerful photo tripod to an equally powerful professional video tripod, suitable for all video heads with a 75 mm hemisphere! It could hardly be more convenient.
