The R1C1 Macro Flash Kit is a unique wireless flash system for fully automatic macro flash photography. The kit consists of two SB-R200 external flash units, which can be attached to the Lens, and the SU-800 remote flash control unit, which is connected to the camera's i-TTL flash control. Information relevant to exposure and flash output, as well as the signal to fire the flash units, is transmitted wirelessly from the remote flash control unit to the flash units using an infrared link. The kit further includes a connection ring and ultra close-up attachments for frontal illumination in the macro range, filters and adapter rings for the most common filter threads up to 77 mm. The SU-800 can also be used to control additional SB-R200, SB-800 or SB-600 flash units, giving photographers full access to the features of Nikon's Creative Lighting System for both indoor and outdoor photography.
