Up to 180° of pure fun!
The Samyang 8mm F3.5 AS MC Fisheye CSII DH Lens differs from its predecessor only by the removable lens hood.
The 8mm fixed focal length is designed specifically for APS-C and crop cameras. However, without a lens hood, this Lens can also be used for full-frame cameras. The lens is a guarantee for ingenious panoramas and is suitable for creating virtual 3D tours.
The lens construction consists of 10 elements in 7 groups. An aspherical hybrid lens in combination with the latest technology of anti-reflective multiple coating (MC) ensure that lens flares are minimized and ghosting is eliminated.
A special feature of ultra-wide-angle lenses of this type is not only the short closest focusing distance. Fischeye Lenses are characterized by their enormous depth of field. As a result, everything behind the actual focus point is already razor-sharp.
Other examples of the use of an extremely short focal length are, for example, action photography. The fisheye effect is indispensable for skateboard photos. Action shots taken close to the action immerse the viewer in the situation.
